The first stage-pre filter
The second stage purify -hepa
The HEPA filter "sticks" PM2.5 fine dust by the adsorption of
fibers. The diameter of the fibers is about the same size as the
dust, and the "mesh" gaps between the fibers are even more
"larger", and the "wide" space between the fibers allows airflow to
pass smoothly. However, due to the layer-by-layer arrangement, the
fine particles still inevitably collide with a messy interwoven
fiber, thereby being absorbed.
As long as the particles in the HEPA filter come into contact with
the fibers, they will be effectively blocked and never leave the
surface of the fibers. This effect is called "intercepting effect".
In addition, as long as the particles continuously entering the
filter come into contact with the blocked particles, they will
stick to the existing particles. Therefore, after a long time,
layers of particles will accumulate on the fibers of the filter:
